2004 TBI Committed Racing Teams (CRT)

Purpose:
Encourage and reward TBI category specific team racing at
key TXBRA events.
Signup:
Available
to all TBI members in good standing. By 2/2/2004 CRT
participants are to complete and turn in this CRT form in
addition to paying a $200 team kit deposit. The deposit
may be paid in two installments of $100. No clothing will
be delivered until both payments are received.
CRT Program
Description:
1.
Participants agree to race in 12 of 20 events listed below
on the 2004 CRT Event Schedule.
2. Participants are not eligible for the standard TBI $10
racer reimbursement program.
3. Participants will be given a $200 TBI team kit (jersey,
shorts, helmet) to be worn at CRT events.
4. CRT participation may be revoked and deposit forfeited
if a member is not “in good standing”.
5. CRT participants will receive the following benefits:
At
year end CRT participants completing 12+ CRT events in
their CRT category will have their $200 team kit deposit
refunded and keep all team kit items. They will also
receive an additional “Team Payout” as listed below based
on the number of CRT participants in the same CRT category
completing 12+ CRT events.

For
example: If three M3 racers each complete 12+ CRT M3
events then at year end each racer earns a $225 “Team
Payout”, gets to keep their team kit and is refunded
their$200 team kit deposit.
CRT
participants NOT completing the minimum 12 CRT events in
their CRT category will be reimbursed $10 for each CRT
event while retaining all team kit items, but will forfeit
their $200 team kit deposit

Note:
CRT Event Schedule may be adjusted based on TXBRA
cancellations or additions. With prior approval of the TBI
Race Director category teams may be allowed to substitute
other races. Riders upgrading during the year will still
be scored within their original CRT category as long as
they complete the balance of their 12 races in the new
category.
