The Beauty and the Beast rally was the
first team event TBi participated in during the spring of
1987. As with TBi, the rally has gone through several
iterations over the years. It has returned to its spring
venue offering both challenging hills and a field made up
primarily of North Texas Racers.

Tyler Bicycle Club, the Rally's host ,sent these pictures of the start. John

Five miles into the ride, the rally goes out to back country
roads.
The pack in the 70 mile race was fast on what became a hot and
windy day. Don, Andy and Jerry were in the front group doing the 70 mile "pay"
race.
